4K London, the digital cinematography specialist agency, is representing digital imaging technicians (DITs) and providing on set color management equipment on Ron Howard’s latest feature film, “Rush,” which is being captured with ARRIRAW.
“Rush,” is set in the glamorous world of 1970s Formula 1 racing and is based on the true story of the great sporting rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Produced by Cross Creek Pictures, Revolution Films and Working Title Films, “Rush” is due for release in 2013 by Universal Pictures.
Academy Awardยฎ winning cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) is shooting “Rush” using ARRI ALEXA ARRIRAW. Senior DIT Dan Carling is handling the ARRIRAW data running Codex and Truelight On Set colour management, assisted by Marc Jason Maier and Mat Brooks. Carling has previously worked with Dod Mantle on Trance, directed by Danny Boyle, and Dredd, directed by Pete Travis.
