Shout It Out Loud Music (SIOLM) is roaring louder than ever. The boutique music production company is pleased to unveil its brand-new studio in the heart of New York City’s Fashion District. The new space will serve as the creative epicenter of SIOLM, which has expanded its audio post and music production services with a state-of-the-art recording facility, while enhancing its core expertise in original scoring, music supervision and licensing for advertising, television, film and interactive.
“The studio signals a recharge of our creative strengths, as well as our continued mission to cultivate great music and integrate it across all media platforms,” remarks SIOLM Founder/Creative Director Francis Garcia. “We designed and built our studio to better accommodate our existing clients and a broader range of projects. With a bigger space and more cutting-edge technology, we’re more versatile than ever.”
Multi-talented mixer, engineer and composer Daniel Dzula will spearhead an expanded audio post division that aims to bridge the worlds of music production and post, a creative solution that Dzula says is economically practical, while not compromising quality and talent.
“With us handling multiple aspects of music and sound, clients can communicate their goals in a creative environment where we can meet them seamlessly, with quicker creative turnaround and a smoother hand-off to post,” adds Dzula.
Managing Director/Producer Leigh Hurwitz will oversee the diverse talent base behind the new studio, which includes Executive Producer/Composer Lucas Van Lenten and Composer/Studio Coordinator David Steinberg.
“Clients will be impressed with how much we can accomplish in-house, from creative concept to finished mixes,” states Hurwitz.
The new 3,000 square-foot studio exhibits a modern vintage-70’s vibe that elicits a creative ambience for clients and recording artists alike. SIOLM has already produced a slew of commercial work from its new space. Most notably seven spots for Avon. Other brands include Axe, Olay, Weight Watchers, Vicks, Clearasil, Cymbalta, and Publix via agency clients McCann Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, Draftfcb, Publicis, Euro RSCG and 22squared.
On the music production side, Rhett Miller (Old 97’s), Joey Santiago (The Pixies), Anamanaguchi, Ringo Deathstarr, Tigercity and members of VHS or BETA have all tapped SIOLM to produce musical works. The holistic space fosters a vision to cultivate deep creative relationships with recording artists, many of whom belong to the SIOLM licensing roster. Recent signees include North Highlands, Hussle Club, Big Troubles, Headless Horseman, Cinnamon Chasers and Lavalier (who join established acts VHS or BETA, Loney Dear and Anamanaguchi). Hailing from around the globe to Brooklyn’s burgeoning music scene, the roster is known for contributing original music when the project demands.
“We are passionate music people, first and foremost, who are savvy in post-production and understand the narrative aspects of working to picture," concludes Garcia. "We want to blur the lines between multiple media platforms. Our belief is that thoughtful, interesting work occurs when music and visual art seamlessly coexist.”
