THE SPOT
"Treat Me" conveys the message that teens are still kids, and that CCMC is uniquely suited to provide the care they need, regardless of the illness. The :30 captures teenagers in their natural elements—playing basketball, walking the halls of school, working at a grocery store. That footage is intercut with close-ups of the teens introducing their ages, one at a time: "I am fourteen years old … I am sixteen years old … When are you going to treat me with respect … with trust … more like an adult?" The shots are followed by scenes of the teenagers being treated at CCMC, while a Peri Gilpin voiceover ("Roz," Frazier) states, "There’s nothing tougher than being a teen, unless it’s being the parent of one. At CCMC we know teens are still growing—emotionally and physically." The spot concludes with the CCMC logo and the tag line, "Kids are great we just make them better."
Spot broke in February.
