A year from its birth, Filmmaster Madrid has reached a significant result: It has been entrusted with the task of producing the Durex campaign dedicated to the new line of lubricants. It is a multi-subject campaign created by Euro RSCG Barcelona, directed by Marco Gentile, the young multiple award-winning director whose exclusive rights in Italy, Spain and MEA are held by Filmmaster.
The three commercials, “fogosos”, “impacientes” and “gourmets”, were all directed in a villa located in the center of Madrid. Actors and models, protagonists of the commercials, were involved in the shooting for two whole days.
Roberto Serna, Executive Producer Filmmaster Madrid, explains that “the Spanish production company has already produced important commercials such as Calzedonia, Renault and Nastro Azzurro, and Durex represents a significant step forward. Indeed to work with a talent like Marco Gentile was very important in order to introduce him to the Spanish market, which appreciated his directorial abilities. The new Durex commercials were the perfect opportunity.”
Marco Gentile has been selected by Shots Magazine as one of the most appreciated Italian directors, he has won a Silver Lion at the Cannes International Advertising Festival and has already directed commercials for brands such as Liu Jo, Carrera with Tony Kaye as guest star, Morellato and Radio Deejay.
Marco Gentile says: “Spain is one of the countries I work best in, it offers extraordinary resources and locations that let you represent the creative idea the best way. Directing the Durex campaign was very exciting, especially the commercial “impacientes”, which gave me the chance to work more on the acting with a couple of very capable and reactive actors.”
Less than one year from its birth, Filmmaster Madrid has reached an amazing economic result thanks to the skills of the production team and also thanks to the collaboration and integration with the Italian hub. During its first year Filmmaster Madrid has already produced important commercials such as Nastro Azzurro (directed by Tony Kaye), Renault (directed by Acne), Coca Cola (directed by Ben Quinn) and Calzedonia (directed by Ago Panini).
