Hollywood DI is pleased to announce the completion of post-production on A PERFECT MAN, the new feature film by director/producer Kees van Oostrum, ASC and executive producer Gary A Wilkes. A PERFECT MAN marks the third production in the past two years of Kees van Oostrum in conjunction with Hollywood DI. The feature film is set in the sophisticated world of Amsterdam’s cultural elite.
Kees van Oostrum remarked: “Hollywood DI’s high standards, and their ability to flawlessly integrate conventional film and digitally captured material of A Perfect Man, made them an easy choice!”
The story takes place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands with filming done on the ARRICAM film camera using 35mm anamorphic lenses from Technovision. Footage captured on a Canon EOS 5D camera was also incorporated into the movie. “I think Aaron Peak’s strong creative abilities as a colorist played a key role in the success in successfully combining the aesthetics of film and digital acquisition,” said Oostrum.
Neil Smith, Hollywood DI’s Managing Director is delighted with the final look of the film: “Kees and Aaron did a fantastic job in capturing and bringing out the look and feel of Amsterdam. The city and the actors were beautifully filmed by Kees and enhanced to perfection in the DI suite by Aaron.”
A PERFECT MAN will be released during the fall of 2012.

Faced with tight deadlines and strained budgets, creative teams are often tempted to select music for their content simply because it “fits.” Unfortunately, that may result in content that is in tune with what’s trending but is out of tune with brand identity. Effective sonic branding, by contrast, requires thoughtful strategic planning,... Read More
