Resource representation entity links top talent with award-winning production shops and agencies
Drawing from his past expertise in recruiting creative/digital talent, and producing for top advertising agencies, Digital Producer Shaz Sedighzadeh recently wrapped up his time at Crispin Porter + Bogusky(CP+B) to launch <a href="www.thesupply.com.>The Supply, a resource representation entity for digital and creative talent.
“The world of traditional staffing, simply matching keywords on a resume, has been a working model for some time, and may continue to be in some capacity. But in the digital advertising world today, things are shifting way too fast to solely be supported by the standard candidate sourcing methods,” Sedighzadeh said. “Talent specialists and reps now need to think like experienced digital producers and strategists; they need to ‘get it’, knowing what the project/campaign consists of, what type/level of specific talent is needed, matching resources with the timeline/budget, identifying what design aesthetic needs to be applied, whether it’s a job for a vendor or a couple of freelancers, and the list goes on.”
With a clear understanding of the digital space, strong industry connections, and proven working relationships with some of the best talent out there, <a href="www.thesupply.com.>The Supply can accurately provide clients with the desired Integrated Producers, Creative Developers, Strategists, Creative Technologists, Creatives, Digital Designers, and any of those crazy new age agency titles. This goes for individual projects, full-time staff hires and even small team builds. And with knowledge of some of the best gigs at the top-performing agencies and shops, many under the radar, <a href="www.thesupply.com.>The Supply looks out for, and connects its talent with opportunities that fit their passions.
<a href="www.thesupply.com.>The Supply will be a constantly evolving entity. Identifying strong talent is something it will always do, but the manner in which it’s done will be very fluid. For example; placing proven small freelance teams, recommending fitting vendor options, supplying research/reference material, and many other resourceful added value support is on the list of things <a href="www.thesupply.com.>The Supply loves to do, and has done successfully in the past.
The founder, Shaz, is greatly positioned for this role, having been deeply involved with researching emerging technology for years, managing digital projects of all types, and successfully managing relationships with vendors and individual talent over the course of his career. Most recently, he has produced top digital work at CP+B and Tool of North America for clients that include Old Navy, Coke Zero, Microsoft Windows, Jose Cuervo, Sprint, Hotels.com, and more. Prior to that, Sedighzadeh was getting his feet wet in a wide range of digital roles: Digital Account Management, Search Marketing, Interactive Recruiting, and more.

“Ǝvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of Ǝvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
Inspired by the overwhelming number of recent events that threaten human existence, Ǝvolution, possibly the shortest film in this 12th edition of the festival, plays out entirely through the symbolism of circles, cleverly illustrating —in the blink of an eye— the repeating patterns of history, and confronting viewers with the uncomfortable truth that our so-called “progress” may, in fact, be guiding us to our own ruin.Premiering at the Regal 14 Union Square, New York City, on October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., Romina Schwedler's micro-short, featuring Leah Young with cinematography by Alan J. Carmona, will be sure to spark conversations longer than the film itself! Forcing viewers to reconsider the true meaning of evolution, not just as a biological process, but as a reflection of our collective journey as humans.
With a string of festival appearances across the globe, including CineGlobe at CERN (Switzerland/France), Oscar®... Read More
