Sony USA, AbelCine and Hollywood DI announce the F65 Camera and Workflow Open House to be held on Saturday, December 10th on The Lot in West Hollywood.

Sony and AbelCine will be bringing the latest version of the F65 camera and SRMASTER line up as well as other members of the CineAlta range of professional cameras, lenses and recorders. Satoshi Kanemura, Vice President, Beyond HD Production Solutions, Professional Solutions of America, Sony Electronics Inc. is responsible for managing the introduction of the F65 into the US market and will be on hand all day to answer any questions you may have on the camera and SRMASTER platform.
Andy Romanoff, Industry Relations, Ian McCausland, Camera Technology Specialist, and a team of specialists from AbelCine will also be on hand to discuss sales, support and training services for the F65 camera and SRMASTER accessories. AbelCine is a key authorized reseller for the F65 camera and their top people will be available to discuss camera configurations, sales, financing, support, training and rental options for the F65 and other Cinealta products.

As well as having the CineAlta cameras and accessories available, Hollywood DI with its application partners, Colorfront and Blackmagic Design will be demonstrating F65 RAW file dailies solutions, color correction and SRFile workflow. This is the first time that a complete ‘end-to-end’ F65 workflow based on the SRFile format will be demonstrated. Colorfront‘s Dailies system provides a powerful tool for on-set or near-set processing of F65 RAW files into the efficient SRFile format for editorial and finishing purposes. Blackmagic Design‘s DaVinci Resolve provides sophisticated tools for online conform and color correction.
Sony will also be showing their iPad F65 control application with the close-to-production model F65 camera and explaining the 16bit RAW workflow in detail.
The F65 Open House will provide an informal relaxed environment in which you’ll be able to gain hands on experience of the F65 camera and talk things over with the experts from Sony and AbelCine.
