THE SPOTS
In "Baby" (:30) harried parents sit in a Mercedes-Benz M-Class, verbally check off items they’ve purchased, when suddenly they realize they’ve left the baby outside the vehicle. A Joe Mantegna voiceover points out, "If only everything were as safe as an M-Class, you’d have a lot less to worry about." "Roadside" (:30), which highlights Mercedes-Benz’s 24-hour roadside assistance service, shows a man driving down a deserted road. Suddenly he spots a trio of attractive women whose car has broken down. While he fantasizes about an encounter, he moves on to assist a stranded E-Class motorist farther down the road. "Our roadside technicians are dedicated. Very dedicated," says Mantegna.
Spots broke March 15.
