Karlin+Pimsler, the award-winning Direct Response Creative Agency, has harnessed the power of Bill Gates, Charlie Sheen, Oprah, Donald Trump, and, even a U.S. President, to endorse the cash advance services of Valley Trust. This humorous spot features regular people with celebrity names…all who have used Valley Trust‘s services.
“When Karlin+Pimsler presented the concept for the campaign, we immediately knew that the spot would breakthrough and resonate with consumers,” said Mike Kevitch, COO of Valley Trust. “We live in a celebrity culture, yet most of us are just regular folk—so this is the perfect message, and endorsement, for today’s economy.”
“As we have seen with the frenzy of Kim Kardashian’s 72 day marriage—celebrity culture has a big influence over today’s society,” said Mal Karlin, President and Chief Creative Officer, Karlin+Pimsler. “But what is unique in the Valley Trust campaign is that the Bill Gates, Oprah and Donald Trump who are featured in the spot, are our country’s real role models—regular hard-working men and women.”
The Direct Response campaign for Valley Trust launches on November 14 and will be featured on cable networks including TBS, NFL Network, Spike, Tru, Adult Swim, A+E, among others. Zenith Optimedia Direct, New York handles media for the campaign. The spot can also be viewed on YouTube.
The first spot in the campaign is called “We Ask” and it asks regular people with famous names where they go to get a quick cash advance…and, of course, it is Valley Trust.
“We always look for ways to entertain consumers,” continued Karlin. “Advertising has the potential to be as entertaining as the TV programming—and if you can hit that sweet spot—you will find less fast forwarding, and more viewing, of your commercial. That is always our goal and we certainly accomplished it in the new ad campaign for Valley Trust.”
