charlieuniformtango co-founder, president and executive producer, Lola Lott, announced director Kenny Grant has joined forces with tango sister company, Liberal Media Films.
Grant will continue to own and operate his production company Shazam Productions in Austin, while working as a strategic alliance partner with Liberal Media Films.
“Kenny’s skills as a high level producer as well as a talented director are very attractive to us,” said Lott. “He brings a lot to the table. We have the talents of Directors Jeremy Bartel, Travis Aitken and Justin Wilson at Liberal Media Films, and now we can offer the experience and skill of Kenny Grant to our clients as well. I’d say we cover the full spectrum from comedy, music video, documentary, commercial and long format extremely well with our team.”
“I’m looking forward to working with the team at Liberal Media Films to help take it to the next level,” said Grant. “To be a part of an organization with such deep talent is a great compliment and very exciting.”
Grant began his career as a successful television commercial producer in the early 1990s. He worked as a broadcast producer from 1990 to 2005 for GSD&M producing and directing commercial and industrial films. He has worked with many celebrities, including Lance Armstrong, Justin Timberlake, Phil Mickelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Jack Nicklaus, Frank Thomas, David Robison, Dan Marino, and many more.
In 2005, Grant went to work for Publik Music where he directed and produced music videos for Time Warner. The artists showcased in these videos included Malford Milligan, Dale Watson, Guy Forsyth and many other great artists. Grant founded Shazam Productions in 2006. His creative imprint can be seen in his work as a Director for the PGA Tour, Schwab, Chili’s and the U. S. Air Force. His Director reel includes comedy, celebrities, dialogue with special effects and real people.
