There is some irony in the fact that Saturn’s "Sheet Metal" was shot on location in, of all places, Los Angeles-a city known for its utter dependence on the automobile. That’s because the ad-created by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (GSP), San Francisco, and directed by Noam Murro of Los Angeles-based Biscuit Filmworks-is essentially car-free. Like most automotive spots, we see people in scenarios involving cars. The difference in "Sheet Metal" is that the cars are missing.
The SAG/AFTRA Commercials Contract Standing Committee has granted a waiver to allow commercials to be available for viewing on SHOOTonline.com. The spots cannot be copied, downloaded or emailed.
