Move marks the convergence of all of the PS2F companies into the 90028
Runway (www.runway.com), a leading provider of editing systems, integrated solutions and technical support services for the film and television industry, has relocated to Hollywood after almost ten years of operation in Culver City. The move marks the convergence of all of the Post Start 2 Finish Family of Companies, which also includes The Post Group, iO Film, Lightning Media and The Cahuenga Theater, into the 90028 area. Runway is now located at 1330 Vine Street, Hollywood, CA 90028.
Founded in 1992 at the Santa Monica airport, Runway moved to its Culver City location in 2002. Runway now offers 76 turn-key rooms for use as production offices and/or editorial bays at three separate locations in the heart of Hollywood, where the combined facilities of the entire Post Start 2 Finish Family of Companies allow clients access to a full spectrum of post production all within walking distance of each other and the Hollywood community of restaurants and services.
Runway deploys services, systems and support to clients worldwide. Runway systems have been used on productions from California to New York, Italy to Munich, Canada and London. The new Peregrine mobile post production system was recently dispatched on location for a VFX feature and is currently being used for digital lab workflows on several other projects.

“Ǝvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of Ǝvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
Inspired by the overwhelming number of recent events that threaten human existence, Ǝvolution, possibly the shortest film in this 12th edition of the festival, plays out entirely through the symbolism of circles, cleverly illustrating —in the blink of an eye— the repeating patterns of history, and confronting viewers with the uncomfortable truth that our so-called “progress” may, in fact, be guiding us to our own ruin.Premiering at the Regal 14 Union Square, New York City, on October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., Romina Schwedler's micro-short, featuring Leah Young with cinematography by Alan J.
