The highly popular 2011 “Summer by Bravo” campaign rolls on, with the next new promo spot in the series set to debut on July 21st, and another to come in August. Shot and Produced by LA agency Stun Creative, and set against the new Britney Spears song “I Wanna Go,” the on-going summer camp-themed campaign presents over 20 of Bravo’s most popular talent (“Bravolebrities”) attending summer camp where they engage in a variety of fun activities, ranging from archery and ping pong, to roasting marshmallows at a campfire party.

In the next two new spots from the campaign, viewers will be treated to Patti Stanger, the “Millionaire Matchmaker,” as she flies a skywriting propeller plane, China Chow plays softball, there’s a Bravolebrity potato sack race, and a cabin comes crashing down around “Watch What Happens” host, Andy Cohen. Highlights from previous spots in the “Summer Camp”-themed campaign include Padma Lakshmi in a pillow fight, and “Salon Takeover’s” Tabatha Coffey cruising along a zipline.
Each of the summer camp activities presented in the campaign was designed to underscore the stars’ unique personalities, rivalries and relationships with each other โ including one “Housewife” shooting an apple off the head of another with an arrow. And although everyone is in a summer camp setting, it is most definitely a Bravo version of camping: Stylish, pop and more akin to “Glamping” (glamour + camping).
Surprisingly, the entire campaign was not shot at a campground or even outdoors, but rather was shot against a giant three walled blue screen! Stun produced the four-day shoot at soundstages in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, where they built fashionable log cabins and anything else that the talent would have physical contact with. These background settings were composited with mountains, trees and a lake through visual effects. This approach gives the campaign a lush, hyper-real visual style, befitting the larger-than-life personalities of the Bravo stars.
