charlieuniformtango editor Andrea Mendoza just completed work on a series of commercials for GSD&M client AARP featuring Betty White.
Proving that joining AARP doesn’t have to make you feel old, in this campaign, Betty White coquettishly demonstrates that membership allows those 50+ to truly live life to the fullest. And even at 89, Betty does, indeed.
Betty tells seniors to “get over it” and join the retirement organization. She says you can be old and still get the most out of life. In one spot, Betty prank calls a bunch of people, being at once loveable and naughty. In another, she ogles a young hunk as he washes her Mercedes-Benz Gullwing.
