The rig will be fitted with a matched pair of HAC 18×7.6-F Fujinon lenses and Sony cameras. Kerner’s Chief Engineer Marty Brenneis will demo the rig during NAB for interested parties there.
Partridge has also announced that Kerner has signed a deal with Panavision Canada by which Kerner will build and supply Panavision with two new Kernercam KC 7000 rigs. This new agreement will make the Kernercam rigs available through Panavision for rental in Canada. The deal is expected to be embraced by the Canadian market which is actively producing a significant amount of 3D content across features, commercials and sporting events.
Said Mr. Partridge, “The Kerner 3D Camera rig is extremely well-designed, easy to set-up, and a highly reliable system for anyone working in 3D. We’ve had stellar reviews, so far, from all who have used it. We are excited to be at our first NAB, and also to have our rigs being represented in Canada by Panavision.”
