THE SPOTS
Two :30s promote pork as a low-fat alternative to chicken. In "Chase," a woman spots a bus just as it is pulling away from a stop. She sets off—in her high heels—in hot pursuit, sprinting along sidewalks and through alleys at a good clip. When she finally catches up with the vehicle, she stops to read the advertisement about pork on the side of the vehicle, instead of boarding the bus. "Traffic" consists of a shot of a billboard with revolving panels that cycle between two ads: for a furniture store and for pork. Each time the pork sign is shown, the traffic is heard screeching to a halt, horns blaring.
Spots broke April 4.
