Hutchinson brings more than 15 years of experience to Shooters, having earned his chops in commercial editing in New York as well as in award-winning documentary films in his native England.
Hutchinson’s credits include spots for Nivea, Cymbalta/Eli Lilly, Verizon, Qwest, Fisher Price, Dominoes, Wyeth, Pizza Hut, E*Trade, McDonald’s, Goodyear, Dreyfus Financial, and spoof commercials for “Saturday Night Live” among others. He has edited standard and webisode PSAs for Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), Alzheimer’s Association and City Harvest.
Hutchinson’s deft touch can be seen on commercial spots and long-form vehicles for agencies such as BBDO, Y&R, McCann-Erickson, Arnold Worldwide, Lucky & Co and JWT, to name a few. His latest projects include work for New York Fashion Week featuring designer Carolina Herrera, a broadcast commercial campaign for Alfa Insurance, and a documentary by Juan Delcan on AfriCobra, the arts movement of the late 1960s.
Hutchinson brings great versatility to his work on spots, network promos, pharmaceutical campaigns, webisodes, and music videos. He has also worked as Senior Editor at Push Editorial/Draftfcb, as well as editor at Blue Rock Editorial and Crew Cuts.
“Shooters is a well run creative house and I like that they handle a variety of work from commercials to long form,” says Hutchinson. “It’s also close enough to New York that I can still easily work with clients there, as well as nationwide.”

“Ǝvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of Ǝvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
Inspired by the overwhelming number of recent events that threaten human existence, Ǝvolution, possibly the shortest film in this 12th edition of the festival, plays out entirely through the symbolism of circles, cleverly illustrating —in the blink of an eye— the repeating patterns of history, and confronting viewers with the uncomfortable truth that our so-called “progress” may, in fact, be guiding us to our own ruin.Premiering at the Regal 14 Union Square, New York City, on October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., Romina Schwedler's micro-short, featuring Leah Young with cinematography by Alan J.
