Legendary actresses Joan Collins and Linda Gray brought a level of style and sophistication as co-hosts for the 16th Annual California On Location Awards at the Beverly Hilton Sunday night. Judges favorite “The Green Hornet” took top honors in the features category for Location Team of the Year lead by Location Manager Mike Fantasia who also took home the trophy for ‘Location Professional of the Year for Features.’
Top honors in the television episodic category went to CBS Television’s Production of NCIS: Los Angeles winning the Location Team of the Year award led by Location Managers Tony Salome, Peter Sands and Greg Lazzaro.
The COLA Awards was produced and director by Rajan Shandil, Contigo Visual and supported by John Brown, The Showpros Group. Presented by FLICS (Film Liaisons in California Statewide), the 16th Annual California On Location Awards was a stellar night of awards honoring production teams, location scouts, location teams and the finest national, state and local officials. The COLA Awards will continue to be presented by the FLICS, but will be chaired by FilmLA Inc., President, Paul Audley in 2011.
