All Avid suites have been upgraded to the newest Nitris systems running the amazing version 5 software. Fast Cuts has also opened their second Autodesk Smoke suite and is the first, and only shop, in Dallas to offer the Autodesk Lustre color correction system.

The Lustre gives Fast Cuts‘ clients the opportunity to keep all of their post-production needs in one house. Merging the power of a traditional color suite with the power of a finishing and effects suite gives clients incredible power over the finished product.

Creative editing is performed in six HD offline suites featuring Avid Media Composers, Symphonies and Final Cut Pro. Finishing is accomplished in two HD online suites featuring Autodesk Smoke, Flame and color grading in Lustre. Graphics rounds out the finishing experience with multiple workstations that feature the latest in 3D and 2D animation. Audio mixing, music scoring and sound-design happen in two Russ Berger designed audio suites, both equipped with Pro-Tools HD, surround sound and big screen projection. Everything is linked together via a brand new 16 terabyte Unity Server, making it possible to work on projects in multiple rooms simultaneously for more efficiency.
