Van Nuys, California based Avenue Six Studios recently hosted the Eva Mendes and CEE-LO shoot for “Pimps Don’t Cry.” The clip/piece was featured in the comedic feature film, THE OTHER GUYS, starring Will Ferrell, Eva Mendes and Mark Wahlberg. The Other Guys pulled in $35.6 Million and was number one at the box office this past weekend.

The one and only Arsenio Hall top-lined the shoot for a new InterMedia infomercial shot at Avenue Six Studios. Oscar Bassinson acted as the Vice President/Creative Director for the production which will be hitting the airwaves, shortly. In other news, Vince Offer recently starred and co-directed Eminem’s “Recovery” CD clip for IMV LLC., at Van Nuys, California Based Avenue Six Studios. Featuring Vince’s unique talent as a sought-after pitch man, the "Recovery" spot was produced by Ken Mayer and directed by Offer and Leon Melas for IMV and Interscope records. Director of Photography duties for the production were handled by Ken Barrows.
Ed O’Neill and Kristen Bell Recently also stopped by the ever-buzzing Avenue Six Production studios for a recent Funny or Die shoot. The “June Crenshaw” production was written and directed by David Mamet with producers Mike Farah and Chrisann Verges. Hot Tub Time Machine’s Rob Corddry and Megan Mullally of Will and Grace fame also visited Avenue Six Studios for FunnyorDie.com’s latest hilarious offering. Mike Farah, Producer and Ambassador of Lifestyle at Funny or Die noted, “We shall returnโฆto Avenue Six Studios. It was just as terrific a shooting experience as it was our last time there.”
Last time, Farah brought Hollywood’s comedic elite to Avenue Six as the President’s buddies dropped in for a Presidential Reunion with Ron Howard directing Chevy Chase, Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Dana Carvey, Dan Akroyd and Barack Obama, who was played by Fred Armisen and Michelle Obama, who was played by Maya Rudolph.
