Promax, one of the world’s leading electronic media organizations, awarded Oink Ink Radio three statues Thursday night at the annual Promax/BDA Conference held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles and hosted by comedian Norm MacDonald. The PromaxBDA Awards is the only competition dedicated to recognizing excellence in Marketing, Design and Creative content in the entertainment industry.
Oink Ink, a commercial production company with offices in both New York and Los Angeles, walked away with three trophies for CBS Television Distribution game shows Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Included in the trio were honors for Wheel’s Image campaign, entitled “Missing Letters”, and a gold statue for Jeopardy’s Content Marketing Promotion called “Skinny Jeans” which featured none other than show host, Alex Trebek.
The winning work was creative directed by Oink Ink’s Jim Price and produced by partner/brother Dan Price. Says CBS Creative Director, Swampy Hawkins, “once again our creative partnership with Oink has paid off big. Spot-on creative which consistently catches our audience’s ear. They are always a pleasure to work with and for all of their efforts on our behalf…we win a few awards. What could be better?”
CBS Television Distribution is the US’ reigning syndication leader in distribution of television programs and shows.
“People ask me about our award-winning spots all the time and, after I take most of the credit, I send them to Oink,” says Hawkins.
The Promax honors add to the long list of awards Oink Ink has under its belt, including wins at Cannes, Radio Mercuries and Clio. For more information visit www.oinkradio.com or call 212-334-5800.
