Ed O’Neill and Kristen Bell recently stopped by the ever-buzzing Avenue Six Production studios for a recent Funny or Die shoot. The “June Crenshaw” production was written and directed by David Mamet with producers Mike Farah and Chrisann Verges.
In related news, Hot Tub Time Machine’s Rob Corddry and Megan Mullally of Will and Grace fame also visited Avenue Six Studios for FunnyorDie.com’s latest hilarious offering. Mike Farah, Producer and Ambassador of Lifestyle at Funny or Die noted, “We shall returnโฆto Avenue Six Studios. It was just as terrific a shooting experience this go around, just as it was our last time there.”
Last time, Farah brought Hollywood’s comedic elite to Avenue Six as the President’s buddies dropped in for a Presidential Reunion with Ron Howard directing Chevy Chase, Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Dana Carvey, Dan Akroyd and Barack Obama, who was played by Fred Armisen and Michelle Obama, who was played by Maya Rudolph.
A newly added soundstage and green screen expansion makes Avenue Six even more versatile than ever. As Hollywood’s hottest new film and television facility Avenue Six Studios (www.avenuesixstudios.com) continues to be a sought after location for Los Angeles based production companies. The New Avenue Six Studio Complex offers one of the industry’s most comfortable, immaculate and amazing shooting environment. Located minutes from Burbank, Hollywood and entertainment giants such as Warner Bros., Raleigh Studios, Universal and Disney, Avenue Six is expertly equipped.
The $ Multimillion facility includes three stages for all types of production. It also boasts several thousand square feet of office and other behind-the-scenes space. The stages have continuously been booked at a hectic pace. Andrea Ambandos’ Dragonfly Productions recently completed a TURBO FIRE fitness video starring Chalean for Beachbody while Bully Pictures recently wrapped their latest commercial spot at Avenue Six Studios. Producer Gary Kout alongside Production Supervisor Theresa Martinsons oversaw the Nissin Noodles shoot. The spot stars legendary film and television actor James Hong. On the advertising side, Director Leon Melas and Square One Entertainment have created magic in the kitchen for their latest Shamwow product, Slap Chop. Shamwow’s notorious frontman utilized Ave Six Studios’ east stage “Kitchen set” to create the proper mood for the company’s new infomercial.
