THE SPOTS
Two :30s—"Volume" and "Swimming With Sharks"—visit the quirky logic of kids as they prepare for their everyday adventures. The vignettes include a pint-sized student of martial arts believes intimidation is the key to karate; a young girl imagines she’s being chased by sharks in order to swim faster; and a boy who believes that the right glasses make him smarter. Along the way, the viewer learns who—and what—gets the children started off right for the day: Mom and Quaker Instant Oatmeal. The spots conclude with the tagline, "Now they’re ready."
