The One Club announced the Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencil winners Friday evening at the 13th Annual One Show Interactive, the industry’s most prestigious awards competition celebrating the year’s best in digital advertising and new media. The ceremony took place at Terminal 5 in New York City.
Award winning work is judged by a panel of some of the leading creatives in the digital media space. “This year we saw a 20% increase in entries from around the world, more importantly we saw a some of the best creative digital solutions for brands,” said Kevin Swanepoel, President the One Club. “Gone are the days of creating cool digital gimmicks, today’s digital agencies are creating smart business solutions”.
The evening was produced by The One Club, the world’s foremost non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing excellence in advertising and design. Presenters at One Show Interactive included Kris Kiger from R/GA, Nick Parrish from Contagious, Matt O’Rourke from McCann Erickson, Nicke Bergstrom from Mother and Robert Wong from Google.

Winners included fashion label UNIQLO’S “Lucky Switch” from Dentsu/Tokyo, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library’s “We Choose the Moon” website by The Martin Agency, “Monopoly City Streets” by Tribal DDB in London and Gatorade “Replay” by TBWAChiatDay/Los Angeles.
Best of Show was awarded to the Nike Livestrong Foundation “Chalkbot” by Wieden+Kennedy/Portland. The experiential campaign allowed users to text messages through their cell phones, online and Twitter to the Chalkbot, which was a robot that “chalked” inspirational messages along the Tour de France for riders and spectators to see.
