Shooters Post & Transfer announced today that High-Definition post production will no longer cost its clients more than that of Standard Definition work.
How can Shooters do that? It’s simple really. Their proprietary HD workflow allows for efficiencies that others have yet to reach. Shooters has been investing in HD equipment and infrastructure with the goal of making HD post the norm versus the exception. Shooters works in any high-def format and resolution and has an array of HD decks and computers to support its client’s needs. "We all know working in HD means a much better picture but it also opens up many creative options not possible while working in Standard Definition," says Director of Post Production and Senior Editor, Mark Farkas.
Shooters, known for television commercials, network content and its film finishing division (<a href="http://(www.divevisual.com)“>DIVE), is no stranger to HD. Shooters initially invested in HD technology in the late 90’s when it was the first company outside of NY or LA to offer HD film transfer on a Spirit Telecine.
Shooters also implements a state-of-the-art, facility-wide data flow capable of servicing clients’ other demanding post-production needs in 4k, 2k, Red and other digital formats.
