THE SPOTS
The "Operation Graduation" campaign humorously shows parents learning how to encourage their kids. In "Face Off" (:30/:20), a man stares at what appears to be a teenage boy. Eventually it is revealed that the "boy" is a mannequin and the man is actually in a classroom full of adults. The man finally speaks, telling the dummy that he did "real good," and the rest of the class applauds the man. Supers then appear onscreen: "Encourage them. Get them to graduate. Don’t drop out on your kids." "Back Pat" (:30/:20/:15) features the same class of parents learning how to pat their kids on the back by practicing on dummies. And "Blackboard" (:15) shows parents learning to ask their children how school was.
Spots broke in June.
