Center-Of-Everything.com, a directory of more than 25 freelance broadcast and content producers based in the Midwest, launches today to provide advertising agencies with a free, helpful resource in finding producers.
Center of Everything is a collective of experienced freelance producers founded by 20-year ad agency veteran producer Kara O’Neil Harris. Harris moved to the Midwest in 2007, leaving her position as Senior Producer at TBWAChiatDay in Los Angeles to become Executive Producer at Cramer-Krasselt. Harris’ work includes national campaigns for Energizer, PlayStation and Apple. In 2009, she founded her own company, KOH Productions LLC, when she began freelance producing.
“When I was an Executive Producer, I would have loved to have a resource like Center-Of-Everything.com. I often hired freelancers, but was just working off word-of-mouth recommendations to find producers,” Harris said.
Center-Of-Everything.com contains a directory of freelance agency producers who work as locals in Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Nashville, Indianapolis and Cleveland. Each listing features a mini-bio, contact information and link to the producer’s personal website. The service is free to agencies and producers as the goal of the website is to make it easy for agencies to identify and contact the best producer for each job.
Center of Everything producers have worked at agencies such as DDB, BBDO, Leo Burnett, Fallon, Carmichael Lynch, Cramer-Krasselt, Euro RSGC, McCann, JWT, Weiden & Kennedy, TBWAChiatDay, DraftFCB, Marc USA, Downtown Partners, Doner, Goodby Silverstein, Idea City/GSD&M, Element 79, Peterson Milla Hooks, Y&R, Saatchi & Saatchi and The Martin Agency.
