Film commission representatives from around the world stepped forward this year to run for eight open positions on the 2010 AFCI Board of Directors. In its election, AFCI members chose from an international ballot of candidates to fill the Board seats for a two-year term. The recently elected AFCI Board Members are:
Belle Doyle – Scottish Screen (Scotland, UK); Sue Hayes – Film London (England, UK); Drew Mayer-Oakes – San Antonio Film Commission (Texas, USA); Ingrid Rudefors – Stockholm Film Commission (Stockholm Region, SWEDEN) Kevin Shand – Colorado Office of Film, Television & Media (Colorado, USA); David Shepheard – Abu Dhabi Film Commission (Abu Dhabi, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES); Mark Stricklin – Birmingham-Jefferson Film Office (Alabama, USA); Lisa Strout – New Mexico Film Office (New Mexico, USA); AFCI Board Members completing the second year of their terms in 2009 include:

Walea Constantinau – Honolulu Film Office (Hawaii, USA)

AFCI Board officers will be elected at the upcoming Board of Directors Meeting in New York City, January, 2010.

The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) is the global professional organization whose members are film commissioners that assist film, television and video production throughout the world. It is a non-profit educational association whose network of members serves as city, county, state, regional, provincial or national film commissioners for their respective governmental jurisdictions.
