THE SPOTS
Three :30s humorously showcase Sears’ "Tool Territory." In "Appalled," a man checks out some of the power drills available at Sears. When the woman suggests one, he tells her, "Sometimes I feel like you don’t even know who I am." In "This One," a customer trying out a sander informs the Sears employee, "I want this one." When the worker tells the man he can’t have the demo, the customer insists on it. And in "Shop Teacher," an instructor is tells his pupils that "the best way to drill into that is with an 18-volt drill driver with a speed lock wood boring bit." The spot then cuts to the shop teacher in a Sears store earlier that day, where the Sears employee is telling the instructor the same exact information that he related to his class.
Spots broke July 8.
