THE SPOTS
Three :30s feature vignettes of children playing, as a voiceover asks questions of viewers. In "Wagon," the narrator asks: "Do children really need pajama parties and secret hiding places? Do they need games and make-believe? … And when they’re recovering from an illness or injury, they need it even more," as scenes of youngsters recovering in a hospital are shown. "Airplane" features a similar scenario, but the narrator states that "children need fairy tales … dreams and best friends." And "Donor" asks for contributions to the organization. All the commercials end with the tagline, "Children need Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta."
