The three directors join a roster devoted exclusively to award-winning documentary filmmakers from Sundance and other festivals.
<a href="http://www.nonfictionunlimited.com.#d/directorDetail/id/28″>RJ Cutler‘s THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE, follows legendary Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour as she and her staff prepare for the publication of the magazine’s largest issue of more than 800 pages. Cutler captures the tension and excitement that surrounds the icon as she moves between Vogue’s Time Square office to the tents at New York Fashion Week, couture shows in Paris and Milan, into private conversations with designers Jean Paul Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta and Karl Lagerfeld who court her approval. THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE won the Documentary Excellence in Cinematography Award at Sundance.
<a href="http://www.nonfictionunlimited.com.#d/directorDetail/id/28″>RJ Cutler‘s previous documentary credits run deep. He directed A PERFECT CANDIDATE, following the infamous Virginia Senate campaign between Oliver North and Charles Robb; AMERICAN HIGH, a documentary TV series about high school students in suburban Chicago; and the provocative six-hour series BLACK, WHITE, the premiere of which became the most-watched nonfiction program in U.S. cable television history. As a producer <a href="http://www.nonfictionunlimited.com.#d/directorDetail/id/28″>RJ Cutler‘s credits include the Oscar-nominated film THE WAR ROOM, following Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign; THIN, the Sundance Award-winning documentary and HBO series about teen girls struggling with eating disorders; and 30 DAYS featuring Morgan Spurlock.
<a href="http://www.nonfictionunlimited.com.#d/directorDetail/id/26/spot/0″>Sean Dunne was at Sundance this year with THE ARCHIVE, his documentary short about Paul Mawhinney’s 50 million dollar record collection, sadly up for sale due to the collector’s failing health. Mawhinney shares his love of music, vinyl records and memories of decades of amassing his treasure, one record at a time. THE ARCHIVE is on-line and has received over one million Internet hits to date.
Dunne’s previous documentary work includes, OCEAN EXPLORER, on permanent instillation at the Smithsonian; BUCKLES, about the last living U.S. veteran of World War I; and 102 MINUTES for the World Trade Center Tribute Center.

The comedy feature starring Charlyne Yi and Michael Cera ,and with friends Seth Rogan and Demetri Martin, mixed documentary with narrative filmmaking in what Sundance called a “hybrid documentary feature film.” The poignant and funny mocumentary mixed actors and real people to explore modern romance on its way to winning <a href="http://www.nonfictionunlimited.com.#d/directorDetail/id/27/spot/0″>Nick Jasenovec and Charlyne Yi the Waldo Salt Sundance Screenwriting Award.
<a href="http://www.nonfictionunlimited.com.#d/directorDetail/id/27/spot/0″>Nick Jasenovec‘s earlier work includes the comedy shorts IMPOSSIBLE IS THE OPPOSITE OF POSSIBLE, a motivational video parody with Michael Cera; SOUNDS GOOD TO ME: REMASTERING THE STING with Bill Hader, about a sound designer with interesting ideas for the classic film; THE TUTORS OF 826LA, about crappy tutors who think they are helping students, produced by Judd Apatow; and OIL AND VINEGAR: THE SLICK RUBIN & MAROON 5 STORY with Jonah Hill as music producer guru Slick Rubin convincing the band to record “HJ Train”, an ode to a skillful gal.
