Oddball Film+Video, the leading provider of offbeat and unusual stock footage has recently acquired rare 1960s surf footage, licensed footage for Marlon Brando and Barak Obama docs and shot exclusive footage in South India for Global Performance Media for their feature “Beard Club” a film exploring the social politics of facial hair.
Oddball is currently researching the new film by rabble-rouser documentarian Michael Moore that is slated to be released later this year. Additionally they’ve prescreened several docs in progress in their facility’s screening room, a service they offer clients who require a space for private “in-progress” previews of their films.

Marlon Brando speaking at a Black Panthers rally for the Grief Company documentary, “Brando.” This film will be premiering at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year in May.
For “Beard Club”, produced by Global Performance Media and directed by Laura Lukitsch Oddball provided offbeat beard and mustache footage as well as exclusive stills shot in South India by Oddball’s Director, Stephen Parr. In addition Oddball hosted two preview screenings of this work in progress to a capacity crowd of investors and critics.
Oddball worked with CNN to provide footage of Hawaii and Kenya for the Obama biopic “Obama Revealed” which aired earlier this year.
Provided Paris-based Production Company, The Embassy Visual Effects, Inc. for a Citroen commercial. The footage that Oddball provided was of stunt men flipping and crashing cars.
Oddball Film+Video works regularly with the popular San Francisco based television show, “Mythbusters”. In a recent episode they used Oddball’s quirky footage of wittlers wittling, contortionists contorting, a crazy guy popping popcorn, and outrageous sci-fi horror movie trailers.

Oddball is researching projects for rabble-rousing documentary filmmaker Michael Moore on the US economy, NYC’s North South Productions broadcast program “Marked”, about tattooed gangs from Mexico and Russia and ad agency Euro SCG London who’s searching for media visions of the future.
Oddball is also researching two diverse documentaries including filmmaker Nancy Kelly and KRCB Public Television’s environmental documentary “Moments In Time: Saving the Marin Coast” and Chris Meltzer’s “Fishbone”.
Oddball’s Eclectic Film Screenings:
Oddball Films presents a weekly cinema series featuring eclectic film programs such as “Bongo Beatin Beatniks,” “Trance Cinema,” “Plagues and Pleasures on the Salton Sea,” (narrated by John Waters) and a monthly screening titled “Strange Sinema” which showcases a collection of films from their unarchived collection. Oddball also hosts private preview screenings of works in progress for select clients in their screening room. “Beard Club”, “Guest of Cindy Sherman” and award-winning “Sita Sings the Blues”, have all been previewed in Oddball’s screening facility.
