The CLIO Awards today announced that the deadline for entries has been extended in order to ensure that all agencies have the opportunity to enter their work for the 50th Anniversary, one of the world’s most recognized international advertising and design competitions.
“There is no doubt that agencies and industry professionals worldwide have experienced the challenges of today’s marketplace,” said Wayne Youkhana, director of the CLIO Awards. “The CLIO Awards’ mission to honor creative excellence and breakthrough work is now more important than ever for agencies that need to stand out and rise above the competition.”
The CLIO Awards has granted one last extension for all entries in order to emphasize the impact that such a competition can have for agencies and individuals around the world. Only 11 days remain to enter your work for the 50th Anniversary CLIO Awards that will be seen as a part of history for years to come.
“The 50th Anniversary CLIO Awards is the industry event in 2009 that will gather top creative minds from around the globe to reward the most innovative and forward-thinking work,” said Karl Vontz, director of events. “This anniversary will celebrate past accomplishments in the advertising, design and interactive fields, but will focus on the future – which is why CLIO has challenged the industry with this question, ‘What have you done that hasn’t been done before?'”

Advertising, Design & Interactive: Friday, March 13th
All work appearing between January 1, 2008 and the first quarter of 2009 must be submitted online and arrive at the New York office NO LATER than March 13th
Strategic Communications/Public Relations: Friday, April 10th
All work appearing between January 1, 2008 and the first quarter of 2009 must be submitted online and arrive at the New York office NO LATER than April 10th
