(NASDAQ: DGIT), a leading provider of digital media services to the advertising and broadcast industries, announced today that Derek Smith has been appointed Executive Vice President and that Adam Moore and Dan Isaacs have been named Co-Presidents of DG FastChannel’s Springbox Creative Digital Marketing Solutions Group.
In his new role at DG FastChannel, Derek Smith will be responsible for DG FastChannel’s Unicast Internet Marketing and Advertising Technology Group and its Pathfire unit. Pathfire distributes third-party content such as news and syndicated programming through a proprietary digital network. In their positions as Co-Presidents of Springbox, Moore and Isaacs will oversee business development, strategy, permission-based marketing, metric tracking and analytics. Derek Smith, Adam Moore and Dan Isaacs will report directly to DG FastChannel Chairman and CEO, Scott K. Ginsburg.

With eight years of industry experience at Vyvx in ascending executive roles, Derek Smith is a recognized business executive in the content and media space with global experience. He most recently served as Senior Vice President Content Markets at Level 3 with responsibility for sales and all commercial activities. Smith’s group focused on media and content customers like NewsCorp, Disney, Viacom, Microsoft, Time Warner and Yahoo!

Prior to Springbox, Adam Moore was a partner at Austin-based T3, The Think Tank, where he took the lead in building the firm’s integrated marketing teams and was responsible for new business activities. Adam’s account wins include Dell Computer, JCPenney, MSN and Sprint. Before working at T3, Moore worked at Dell Computer for five years, where he was part of the team responsible for the global redesign of Dell.com. Adam Moore led the team that created and patented Dell’s E-Value Code and Quote-to-Order programs, which are credited with generating more than a billion dollars of online revenue to date.
Dan Isaacs was also previously a partner at T3, where he established T3’s interactive offering, which led to the establishment and growth of the Company’s New York office. Isaacs was responsible for the relationship and management of accounts including Dell Computer, Samsung, Nortel, Marriott, Sprint, MTV, and Citigroup. A Dell Computer and dot-com veteran, Dan Isaacs was responsible for growing Dell’s Small Business Premier Page program offering customized websites to over 20,000 small businesses.
