The addition brings anytime/anywhere media viewing capability of Nice Spots’ Quick View feature to all Nice Spots users with iPhones. With Quick View, users upload their project’s media file to the secure Nice Spots server. Upon upload, all video files are automatically converted into an iPhone/iPod® compatible Quicktime as well as Windows Media and Flash video. Designated colleagues and clients then receive an HTML e-mail notification with a link to a branded webpage. Viewers can either watch video clips directly in their web browser, or click a link to download the Quicktime or Windows Media file.
Now, when an iPhone user receives an e-mail notification on their iPhone and clicks the Quick View link, Nice Spots automatically detects that they are using an iPhone and displays a special webpage, in Safari, formatted for iPhone users. When the user clicks on one of the thumbnail images of a video, it will play in full screen format on their iPhone.
