THE SPOTS
Two :30s feature a combination of live action, digital compositing and 3-D animation to promote Texas Instruments’ (TI) Programmable DSP, a technology that integrates voice, video and data in one seamless connection. In "Wheat," a luminous globe embossed with the TI logo glides over a sea of wheat, and makes contact with three other globes bearing the letters "D," "S" and "P," setting off a chain reaction to highlight TI’s Internet speed. "Ocean" features the globe rocketing across the surface of an ocean, rising above coastal cliffs, and passing over a sandy desert, leaving Internet services, cable and DSL connectivity in its wake, while allowing for customization of applications.
Spots broke in October.
