The <a href="www.mobiusawards.com.>Mobius Awards is accepting entries for its 2008 competition for advertising and package design, which features updated categories and a streamlined entry system that uses less paper. Print entries, for example, will be entered digitally.
The 38-year-old international competition recognizes creative work in print, television, cinema/in-flight, radio, outdoor, package design, direct, online, new media, point-of-purchase, brochure/book, mixed media / integrated and student. New opportunities for entrants can be found in the Consumer Electronics, eCommerce, Personal Care, Recreation and Entertainment, Home Care and Maintenance Products, Clothing and Footwear and Retail Stores.
<a href="http://www.mobiusawards.com.entry_kit.asp”>Students may enter either a single entry or a campaign for only a $15 fee.
The deadline for entries is Oct. 1. Work entered must have been created or active or reintroduced in the period from Oct. 1, 2007, through Oct. 1, 2008. Winners are notified in December, and an awards ceremony is scheduled Feb. 7, 2009, in Los Angeles.
