Bling Imaging, a creator of visual fx for film and broadcast, announced today that a spot they heavily contributed to, Foster Farms “<a href="http://www.blingimaging.com/transformation.>Transformation,” was Short Listed for a Film Lions at Cannes Lions 2008 in the savory foods category. Competing against over 25,000 ads from all over the world, to make it on the Short List at Cannes Lions is a serious recognition for a spot.
Bling worked hand-in-hand with agency Grupo Gallegos to animate the transformation of a famous Foster Farms “Imposter” chicken into a caricature of a beautiful, fresh chicken. They animated two separate versions for a :30 and :60 in release for US and Latin markets.
Co-directed by Nicolas Kasakoff and Sebastian Schor of Flip Films, Santa Monica, the spot has aired on Spanish TV in the U.S., with an English-language version on Foster Farms’ website. Previous awards for the spot include a Belding Bowl Award.
