DIVE, a division of Shooters Post & Transfer, will host a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 to showcase its new state-of-the-art Digital Cinema Suite.
Local dignitaries, including a taped message from Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter and movie industry executives are expected to attend the celebration and view demonstrations of the new screening room and its capabilities.
The new state-of-the-art Digital Cinema Suite houses a wall-sized projection screen for viewing, with movie theater-style seating, and additional state of the art computers and monitors for editing. The screening room is part of a $2.5 million expansion which includes new visual effects equipment, compositing, digital finishing, and color enhancement.
Led by veteran Visual Effects Supervisor Mark Forker, the investment expands and upgrades the company’s technology and facility in Philadelphia. DIVE is currently working on 10 films including Happy Tears starring Demi Moore.
