THE SPOTS
Four :30s spotlight the services of Xcel Energy, formerly known as NSP. "Introduction," a branding spot, contains several vignettes in which an article (i.e., lollipop, cherry pie, flower arrangement) is fashioned in the style of the company’s red and white logo. "Courtesy," "Trust" and "Word" feature scenarios of a "Lost Art" to highlight the company’s tag line: "We’re your new energy company." Holding a door illustrates "The Lost Art of Courtesy"; a young boy makes good on his promise to mow a lawn for "The Lost Art of Keeping Your Word"; and an older woman deals with a mechanic, highlighting "The Lost Art of Trust."
"Introduction" broke in November, while "Courtesy," "Trust" and "Word" began airing in January.
