DJM Post Production collaborated with Bates USA, New York, to produce "Wunuk Family," for Thomas’ Fresh Waffles. The :30 features an Eskimo trudging through a blizzard towards an igloo. Once inside, he meets up with his family and several penguins. He retrieves a pair of boxes of Thomas’ Waffles which eventually transform their home into a tropical igloo. DJM’s credits include offline editor Joe Domilici, online editor Charlie Weissman, Fire editor Wilson Converse, and mixer/engineer Pete Serenita. Also, the New York-headquartered facility has expanded its editing, design and visual effects capabilities with the opening of a new Smoke suite.
Flipside Editorial, San Francisco, worked on Pine-Sol’s "War," via DDB San Francisco. In the :30, Diane the Pine-Sol spokesperson, dressed in military garb, goes into battle with several dirty item-a muddy bulldog, a filthy toilet and a diapered baby-to demonstrate the germ-fighting power of Pine-Sol. For Flipside, Robert Gingg was offline editor, Ben Somkin was assistant editor, Lisa Falvo was producer, and visual effects artist/supervisor was Scott Williams.
Black Logic, New York, completed a pair of :30s for ColdwellBanker.com via The Sawtooth Group, Woodbridge, N.J. "Personal Retriever" and "Concierge" feature a golden retriever, graphics and CGI to tout the company’s online service. Black Logic credits included director Michel Suissa, executive producer Karen Stewart, line producer/assistant director Paul Middlemiss, assistant producer Michelle Seidenfrau, postproduction producer Michele Dunn, lead visual effects artist Alan Neidorf, visual effects artist, and CGI animator Glenn Harper.

Darren Solomon of Big Foote Music, New York, composed music for three Burger King :30s out of McCann-Erickson, New York. "Community Property," "Hospital" and "She Digs Me" feature humorous sitcom-style vignettes, directed by Christopher Bean of bicoastal MacGuffin Films.
Musikvergnuegen worked on a trio of :30s for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois and agency Chicago Creative Partnership. The spots feature picturesque vignettes and typography to highlight the insurance company. For Musikvergnuegen, Walter Werzowa, John Luker, Bernie Locker and Justin Burnett composed, with Pat Weaver producing.
Venice, Calif.-headquartered Machine Head created music and sound design for a package of Amnesty International spots which featured a voiceover by MTV’s Kurt Loder. Created by Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, New York, "Oren," "Stella," "Stephanie" and "Everybody" were directed by Tamara Jenkins of Independent Media, Los Angeles. Machine Head’s Stephen Dewey was creative director, Gabrielle Dotson produced, Mark Kilian composed, Chris Smith was sound designer for "Oren," "Stella" and "Everybody," while Chris Simpson sound designed "Stephanie."
