THE SPOTS
Three :30s star country singer Faith Hill to spotlight Alltel’s cellular phone service. In "Stadium," Hill sings "Amazing Grace" during a sound check at an outdoor stadium, as an awestruck worker holds up his Alltel cell phone so a friend can listen. "I Know You" shows pedestrians recognizing Hill as she walks down a crowded street. But when she runs into an old friend from high school, the woman is hard-pressed to remember the singer. In "Bathtub," Hill gets her toe stuck in the faucet while she takes a bubble bath. The commercials end with the company’s tag line, "The power to simplify."
"I Know You" and "Bathtub" broke in late March; "Stadium" began airing in late April.
