THE SPOTS
Three :30s center on the theme of Unisys being a unifying force in e-business. "High Noon" features a Western showdown in an office between a chief financial officer and a chief information officer. Eventually the two are united by Unisys. "Day of the Dumpsters" depicts a chief executive officer being confronted by an armada of dumpsters that were sent by consultants who were advising him to start over and become an e-business. The CEO turns the tables on the consultants, as Unisys allows him to build on his current business. "Fashion Show" features models on a runway, outfitted with flat-screen displays and clothes that project e-mail. Down the runway comes an awkwardly dressed CEO who is having a difficult time fitting in with his cohorts, illustrating that Unisys can design a wireless solution that suits everyone’s business. The ads all end with the tag line, "Unisys. We have a head for e-business."
"High Noon" began airing March 31; "Day of the Dumpsters" on April 29; and "Fashion Show" hit the airwaves on May 13.
